Position Summary
Black River Contracting is hiring Construction Laborers to support earthwork and utility crews on heavy civil projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist operators and pipe crews
- Hand digging, trench preparation, and site cleanup
- Load/unload materials and tools
- Install erosion control and jobsite protection
- Compact and backfill trenches
- Follow safety procedures and jobsite direction
Qualifications
- Construction experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Willingness to learn heavy civil trade skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Work Environment
- Outdoor work in all conditions
- Physically demanding
