This policy explains what information Black River Contracting (“we”, “us”) collects through blackrivercontracting.net and how we use it.
Information you send us
When you use our contact form or apply for a job, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the subject and message you write, and for job applications, the position, your experience, and any resume file you attach. We use this information only to respond to you, prepare estimates, and evaluate applications.
Each submission, including any resume you attach, is saved in our website’s database, which is hosted in our Cloudflare account, and is emailed to our office through our email provider, Resend. We also send you one email confirming that we received your message or application. Only Black River staff with administrator access can view submissions. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics to tell people apart from bots. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Hosting and logs
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most websites, our host may record standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and performance purposes.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies for visitors. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from abuse, and staff who sign in to edit the website receive a sign-in cookie.
Third-party links and embeds
Our pages link to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, and the contact page can load a Google Map when you choose to view it. Those services have their own privacy practices.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries, applications and resumes for as long as they are needed to respond, complete work, consider you for open positions, or meet legal and business record-keeping obligations, and then delete them.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have sent us by emailing office@blackrivercontracting.net or calling (605) 600-6045.
